Our Mission is to provide photovoltaic (PV) systems to international communities who would otherwise not have access to energy sources. We provide training, volunteers and funding as well as a means for the receiving community to learn how to maintain and sustain their own PV system.

WhyNotSolar was formed to provide electricity for people who cannot connect to an electric grid and/or cannot afford electric generation costs. Through a careful selection process, WhyNotSolar ensures that each project it chooses will benefit the most needed and wide-serving facilities within the communities. The PV systems that WhyNotSolar installs will improve the lives of families and communities while keeping their neighborhoods clean and pollution free. WhyNotSolar is operated by experienced solar industry experts and motivated advocates. Take a minute to learn more about us.
